Fátima is a town located 142 km North of Lisbon. Here you will visit one of the most important sanctuaries in Europe and one of the most revered shrines in the Catholic world.

From there, we visit the Monastery of Batalha which literally means Monastery of the Battle. This monastery was built to thank The Virgin Mary for the Portuguese victory in the battle in 1385. This historic convent stands apart from the whole town.
Alcobaça Monastery is another significant historic site that was founded in the medieval period. Due to its artistic and historical importance, it was listed as a World Heritage site.
